Daily we must Choose

Early in the Scriptures we are called to choose life – yes there is another choice but it is not the one the Lord has called us to choose.

Life is the choice we are to choose every time – all the time.

The Spirit of God is a quickening Spirit – life giving.

2 Corinthians 3:6, tells us, …for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.

We must be careful not to get tangled up in the letter of the law and thereby miss the Spirit of the law because if we do that we will find our walk with God to be frustrating, difficult, unpleasant and down right impossible.

In the letter of the law we find ourselves attempting to keep all the rules and our faith is brought down to do(s) and don’t(s).  In the Spirit of the law we find the love of God in our hearts to do His will.

The Spirit of the Living God –a greater gift we will never receive.

Not only is the Spirit given us to profit withal but to make known unto us the will of God as only He can.

Oh, that all would realize the great gift of God’s Spirit.  So many wear down themselves and are powerless in their witness, trying to do in the flesh what can only be done in the Spirit

It is God’s desire to set His Kingdom up inside of us today.   Luke 12:32

Romans 14:17-19,  For the  kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.  18  For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of  men.  19  Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

I am forever grateful that the Jesus came to seek and save the lost, not just to seek and find and point out the lost but to save us from sin and self.

JESUS didn’t ride into Jerusalemnearly 2000 years ago for not!....He rode in that you and I may ride out from this present world into a glory prepare for His people.    John 10:10,  Jesus came that we might have life and that we might have it in abundance – choose life!  2 Corinthians 6:17

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
